okay, if you saw the photo in my last post of the dogs on the porch.. you might have noticed the large assortment of pumpkins and random gourds. i had big plans, and today adam and i got to work.
mom told me a few days ago that autumn is coming for halloween. well, i figured we should decorate and put our effort into making our country home a festive place. i loved trick’o treating here as a child and i’m sure she’ll enjoy it, too.
well, here’s what resulted:
adam and i are really proud of it. there’s fabric, bats and a spider hanging from the arch.

first fall dinner
made a centerpiece out of babys breath, leaves, gourds and a touch of mel coffey.
the turkey is in the oven. the appearance of a raw turkey isn’t too great, so i’ll take some photos of that when it gets out of the oven.
new character
done with some marker and colored pencil. my new character, i don’t feel very cat-ish anymore, nor do i want bright red hair–i want pink instead! hehe. plus i could never change scythe. so here is my new character, but she has no name. all i know is she is a dog, pink, peaceful, a vegetarian. do you like it?
